Theodore started laughing, and soon, Barrington was laughing too. "Surprise!" they yelled. Theodore rushed out, pulling Barrington behind him. "There you are!" said Petra. "You did surprise me!"

Theodore and Barrington laughed and laughed all the way back to Barrington's dock.

Just then, Foduck came floating by, on his regular harbour safety patrol. Theodore wanted to talk to Foduck, but he knew it was beginning to get late. "Hmm," he thought, "I suppose I really should see if the Dispatcher has a job for me."
