The next morning, Theodore woke up bright and early to watch the sunrise.

And there, sitting quietly in the golden light, was the big ship Cumberland. But this morning he wasn't grumpy at all. "Good morning, Theodore!" he called out. "Good morning!" Theodore whistled back, very surprised. "You sound so happy today!"

"I was just shy yesterday," said Cumberland. "It was my very first day in the Big Harbour, and everything felt so strange. But you were friendly to me anyway. Thank you, Theodore." So the two new friends watched the sunrise together, the way good friends do. And Theodore knew that his surprise friend would be very happy in the Big Harbour after all.
